For your child’s safety, strollers are prohibited on golfing holes. There are approximately 100 steps (up and down) and many uneven and narrow areas where strollers do not fit. Strollers are permitted in clubhouse areas, decks and tiki huts.
Trained service dogs are allowed on courses. Emotional support animals and all other pets are prohibited on courses.
Golf adopted the group size of four golfers long ago. This is so that play remains fun for all golfers. We have many large families that play Smugglers Cove courses. Using an example of 8 family members: this family will play as two teams of 4. Both teams will play side-by-side throughout their golf rounds.
Yes, we do! Smugglers Cove has an American Alligator habitat at each of its courses. The alligators can be fed by golfers for a small fee.
Sorry, but no. We do not offer this for groups that are not golfing as the habitats are within the golf courses.
All of our clubhouse areas are accessible and most of our golf courses are as well. The courses were built prior to current rules, yet where readily achievable and technically feasible, Smugglers has handicap accessible holes. Yes, we are open rain or shine. Obviously, golfers cannot play during thunder/lightning events.
Get off the course if there is lightning. Smugglers Cove staff will do their best to alert you but it is the golfers responsibility to get to safety. We will give you a raincheck to finish at another time if you get caught in bad weather and cannot finish your round.

Smugglers sells water, soda, and many other Coke products in our clubhouses. We also sell beer, wine, and hard seltzers. Only Smugglers Cove alcoholic beverages are allowed on courses as it is illegal to bring your own alcohol.

Yes! Be our guest. We offer putters to all paying golfers, but some players prefer their own “lucky putter."
